How paying works
Roamline has one balance, in credits. Credits are added by card top-up and spent on plans. A plan is always paid from your balance, never charged to your card directly, so a card is charged only for a top-up. There are no subscriptions, stored cards or automatic top-ups.
One credit is worth exactly €0.02: €1 buys 50 credits and €10 buys 500. The rate is fixed and credits never expire. A price that does not divide evenly into credits is rounded up to the next whole credit.
Card top-ups
Top-ups will be taken by Visa and Mastercard card, charged in the currency you choose: euro or US dollars. A top-up can be any whole amount from 1 to 20,000 in that currency; the server enforces both limits. Credits are valued in euro (€0.02 each), so a top-up in dollars buys credits at the European Central Bank's daily reference rate, shown before you pay. If your card is in a different currency again, your bank sets that exchange rate and any fee.
Once card top-ups open, card details are entered on the balance page over an encrypted connection and passed to our licensed payment institution in the same request, where 3-D Secure is applied if your card supports it. We never store, log or keep the card number; only the payment's status and reference are saved to your account.
Card top-ups open at launch. Until then the balance page shows the top-up form, and no card can be charged.
Buying the same plan twice
If the same plan is bought twice from one account within 20 seconds, the second purchase is treated as a repeat of the first: you receive one order and one debit. To buy two of the same plan, for example for two phones, wait a moment before buying the second.
Refunds
Unused credits can be returned to the card that bought them within 14 days of that top-up. Credits already spent are not refundable as credits; the refund terms of what you bought apply to that purchase instead. Ask through the contact form, giving the date of the top-up. Card returns typically reach your account within 5–10 working days, depending on your bank.
Orders that have not been installed return to your balance when cancelled, and failed orders are credited automatically; see the Refund policy.
Questions about a payment
For a charge you do not recognise, a refund you are waiting for or a dispute, write to us through the contact form with the date and amount. Please contact us before opening a chargeback. Nothing here limits your right to dispute a transaction with your bank or card issuer.
