AML & KYC policy

We hold a prepaid balance for our customers, so money-laundering and sanctions rules apply to us. This page says what we check and how the balance limits the risk.
Scope
Roamline holds prepaid balances for its customers, so we apply anti-money-laundering and sanctions controls. Tsernskin keiys OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (registry code 17587191), registered office at P. Kerese tn 17-20, 20309 Narva, Ida-Viru maakond, Estonia, is responsible for them.
Sanctions screening
Roamline is not available in Russia, Belarus, Iran, North Korea, Syria or Cuba. Visits from those countries, judged by the country your connection comes from, are refused on every page. At sign-up we also check your email address: an address on a country-code domain of one of those countries, or at a mail provider operating from one, is refused even when the connection comes from elsewhere. We do not sell eSIM plans that work in any of the six. If you believe you were refused in error, tell us through the contact form.
Identity
Every account is tied to one email address and belongs to the individual or business that opened it; a person opening an account for a business confirms they have authority to act for it. We do not collect identity documents.
How the balance limits risk
- Credits can be bought only by card and spent only on Roamline's own products.
- Credits cannot be sent to another person or withdrawn as cash.
- Money leaves Roamline only as a refund to the card that paid.
- Each top-up is limited to between 1 and 20,000 in the currency you pay in (euro or US dollars), enforced by the server.
- We do not accept cryptocurrency.
Account holds
We may pause an account and withhold delivery while we investigate signs of card testing, repeated declines, a card that is not the account holder's, buying patterns consistent with resale, or a request to refund to a different card. We tell you when we do this and what we need to lift the hold. If a hold cannot be lifted, any unspent balance is returned to the card that funded it.
Records
We keep records of top-ups, purchases and refunds for as long as the account exists, so a payment can be traced end to end at the request of a bank, card scheme or authority.
Contact
Questions about a payment, an account hold or the records we keep go through the contact form.
